  Relax. They waited too long to administer proper treatment. Now, it is 'pay $$$' time.

  Saddly, it is such a ridiculously small amount. There might not even be enough $$$ left to donate back to the WTBTS! 🤔 (Sarcasm)

  Listen, this is a risk we JWs face. Good thing the courts can intervene in the case of minors, but we adults know and accept the danger. After all, there will be a resurrection, right?!

  This is why is so important to do one's homework finding hospitals and doctors that respect the JW stance and treat accordingly prior to facing an emergency.

  The team of JWs that take care of finding hospitals and physicians which accommodate the bloodless belief do a great job in this regard here in the USA.

  The money awarded is not nearly enough. I would've gone for millions.

  Is the WT’s Paradise Earth doctrine a delusion?

  the wt’s teaching that humans will live forever on a paradise earth will necessitate that given that there will be no more death, then immortal humans will have to be relocated to other planets in order to prevent the earth from becoming overpopulated.. so how many habitable, earth-like planets are there?more and more habitable, earth-like planets would have to become available on a continuous, never-ending basis ad infinitum as mankind’s population grows given that there will be no more death.. the longevity/sustainability of life on these planets will be limited by the fact that the sun serving these planets will eventually die:https://shar.es/1cko6n.

  I dont know how i can leave my family!

  my mom and i were talking today about how next summer i will be 18 and she said that just thinking about it might make her cry.

  that made me think about how much more it would hurt her if i quit being a jw.

  i really do love my parents, i know they are just being cruelly manipulated by a cult and that they really think they are doing what is best for me.

  You do not have to quit being a JW; just cool it slowly. Community, family and friends are very worth the tiny sacrifice (in my case, of course).

  My hubby, family, and life-long friends are so very worth it. They are the nicest, most wonderful and fun people I could ever be surrounded by in this journey of life.

  i wanted to stay off the radar but since i'm getting dis-fellowshipped anyways and have no plans to come back what the hell.

  Welcome to this nice venting venue. After reading your intro with the phrase "enjoying every vice", I now understand your smoking avatar.

  Be careful of not becoming a self-fulfilling WTBTS prophesy, you know, the throwing out the baby with the bath water that so many do upon leaving the Org. So, many go on binges of such proportion that they get used as an example of what "NOT" to do.
